What is Charitable Giving?
It is a donation given to a community or non-profit organizations. Charitable giving to organizations registered with the CRA is tax deductible. The higher your income level, the less costly charitable giving is for you. With the recent annual income tax increase, it would be good to consider this option. The CRA website provides a list of qualified donees where you can claim your donations.
